The Source is a Pilates reformer studio rooted in the belief that movement is medicine and that true wellness extends beyond the physical.
We offer Pilates Reformer & Pilates Fusion classes daily (Monday – Saturday).

Yoga & Hot Yoga

Yoga is a mindful movement practice that blends breath, posture, and intention to build strength, flexibility, and inner calm. It’s accessible to all levels and promotes both physical and mental well-being.

Hot Yoga is practiced in a heated room, combining the benefits of traditional yoga with added intensity. The heat helps improve flexibility, boost circulation, and encourage detoxification through sweat—offering a challenging, invigorating experience.

Hot Pilates

Hot Pilates is a high-energy, low-impact workout performed in a heated room. Combining Pilates principles with dynamic movements, it strengthens the core, tones muscles, boosts endurance, and promotes detoxification through sweat—all while being gentle on the joints. It’s a powerful, full-body experience that leaves you feeling strong, energized, and refreshed.

Sound Baths

Sound Baths are immersive experiences that use soothing sounds and vibrations—often from crystal bowls, gongs, and other instruments—to promote deep relaxation and inner balance. As you lie comfortably, the sound waves help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and create space for mental clarity and emotional healing.

Breath Work

Breathwork is a powerful practice that uses intentional breathing techniques to calm the mind, release tension, and connect more deeply with yourself. It can help reduce stress, boost energy, and support emotional healing—guiding you into a state of clarity, balance, and inner peace.

Alyssa Amaral, Owner

I’m a mom to two amazing daughters, and a woman on a mission to empower others through movement and wellness.

This studio is a deeply personal project born from my own wellness journey. As someone who grew up in Hilmar, CA I take great pride in bringing a beautiful, welcoming space to the Central Valley—one that breaks the stigma around Pilates and invites everyone to experience its benefits, regardless of background or fitness level.

I know firsthand how transformative movement and breath work can be. The Source is my way of sharing that with the community—a bohemian-inspired, warm, and inviting loft-style space where people walk in feeling welcome and leave feeling better, stronger, and more connected. Pilates is the fountain of youth, and I believe that the more people we can bring through our doors, the better our community will be.

No one body is made the same, and that’s what makes us extraordinary. 🫶
